MAYA - Directly on the heels of AWNews' 5th Anniversary Party, AWRadio and iNuma Radio decided to make some news of their own by announcing a merger between the two companies.

According to details of the merger agreement, which were released today, iNuma Radio will be absorbed into AWRadio and become iNuma Studios, a media production subsidiary of AWRadio. iNuma Studios will also retain full control of all non-radio properties, such as iNuma TV and AW Tabloids.

In addition to acquiring iNuma's radio shows such as Good Morning AW and Amazing Thursday, AWRadio also gains the valueable services of DJs Agent Meh and DaBean o. Also included in the merger deal is the P100 world Meh, which will be used as a combination headquarters and entertainment venue for AWRadio and iNuma Studios, according to Archergirl, owner of AWRadio.

"This merger was a success because both stations have the same goal to inprove the AW Community and by working together we can better accomplish this goal." says Archergirl, "I believe this merger will benefit both stations, our listeners, and the Active Worlds community. We have some new great ideas that we hope to incorporate soon."

Citing "the fact that [iNuma] would be residing with one of the most prestigious radio stations [in AW]." Agent Meh, owner of iNuma Studios, agreed that the merger would be mutually beneficial. "[The merger] boosts our coverage and we have the advatage of using the AWRadio name so more users will tune in."
